I hope I’m not being too cynical or too ordinary in my thinking but it seems to me that politicians are more pre-packaged and pre-programed for TV than ever before. Hair, makeup, suit & tie, dress; everything is planned and organized to present the “correct” image. Just once I’d like to see a politician that looks more like a Halloween poster than a TV anchor. Oh wait. On second thought, cadaverous gray hair, bent nose with a harry tufted wart and rotted teeth might be to hard for TV commentators to overlook. Nope, go ahead and pre-package them. It’s much easier on the eye… but I suppose the Halloween type could put a bag over the head and then all we’d have to do is listen to what they say. That might be something novel.
Thanks for your visit today. It’s a busy day and I’m a posting a bit later than usual. I promise that, if elected, I will post on time or nearly on time or perhaps sometime that might not be my usual time and, on rare occasions, some other time. And believe me, I tell you this very sincerely!
